Enrique Carrillo, Founder and CEO

Enrique founded Ascendente Capital to bring together the two things he has spent his career building: capable, well-run organizations and the capital that lets them grow.

His career spans more than 20 years at global firms, leading supply chain transformation, large managed services programs and commercial growth for clients across consumer goods, retail, manufacturing and life sciences. He started in operations at GE and Johnson & Johnson, running regulated manufacturing in Puerto Rico.

Born in Humacao and raised in Caguas, Puerto Rico, and based in Chicago, Enrique works fluently in English and Spanish, and at a professional level in Portuguese and Italian.
